NCC Expects to Release New Price for Data

We sometime indicated that you'll before long begin paying more for data packages and calls if Section 24 of cybercrime 2015 Act is passed.

The Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) is hoping to release another price for data, Prof. Umar Danbatta, the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, has said.

Danbatta made the revelation on Thursday amid his acceptance as a Fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Engineering (NAE).

This means if NCC in the long run release new data price, and If the Cybercrime Prohibition and Prevention Act 2015 are in the long run executed, at that point you'll likely be getting 250MB for N1000 to last you for 30 days. While calls might be charged at 1naira/sec, 10MB data design may now go for N100 to last you for a day.

Be that as it may, don't expect anything less expensive than what you are as of now paying for data.
